
TOWN BUDGET
The Town Budget has passed!
Our mill rate 17.9200. Without State Grants of $6,316,115, our mill rate would have been 26.20
Our town gains its revenue from our property tax and from permits. To everyone who voted, thank you for exercising your right to vote and in having a say how our money is being used.
THE INFORMATION POSTED BELOW IS ON ORIGINAL BUDGET SUBMISSION PRIOR TO VOTE
The Board of Selectmen reviewed all submitted budgets and made the necessary adjustments to create the FY10-11 budget. The proposed FY10-11 General Government Budget equals $5,412,949. This is a zero percent increase from the FY09-10 budget. And is actually $135,360 less than last year’s budget figure of $5,548,854. The proposed FY10-11 was presented to the Board of Finance on March 30, 2010 and will be presented again at the Tuesday, April 27th Board of Finance Public Hearing. The Annual Town Meeting date is Thursday, May 27th; a referendum to vote on the combined General Government and Board of Education budgets is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, June 1st.
